Dune Buggy Stops Rolling Car By Crashing Into It
Dune buggying is a sport where, much like sky-diving, accidents don’t really require an explanation. Someone got hurt driving recklessly down a sand dune? No shit!
But the nature of these accidents can be fascinating to observe. Did someone try to do a donut and spin out? Did they attempt to jump and not stick the landing? Or did nature suddenly decide to throw their car into a tailspin?
Better yet is seeing how they stop accidents when they occur — like what happened here.
In the video, a dune buggy can be seen tumbling down a hill. Thinking quickly, another driver decides to get in its way — effectively halting the buggy with another buggy.
By the end of the video, it appears that the buggy’s efforts to bring the rolling vehicle to stability have actually worked. Thank goodness. Otherwise, we’d need to bring another buggy in to stop it, and then another, and then another, and then another…
